Reviews are literally the only way you can gauge whether someone is worth visiting. Would you rather waste your precious salary on girls you were warned about, yet your curiosity won?
Obviously "your mileage may vary" as they say. Good reviews are never a guarantee that you will have a good time too, but it's an important sign of trustworthiness, so you can feel somewhat safe to try. Wives don't charge an entrance fee.
